The brief: Announce the partnership between Manscaped and the US Olympic Triathlon Team, but in a Manscaped-y way.
The idea: Create a commercial that feels like a typical Olympic-time Gatorade/Nike commercial, with a small twist at the end to grab attention.
My role: I concepted the idea with my partner, oversaw production and post production, and created the look and feel of the campaign.
My partner, Brian Murphy and I won the Christmas campaign and were able to produce a couple 30 second spots, as well as a bunch of 15 second Everyday spots.
The tagline we came up with is: Santa has Elves, You have Target - which I’ve always thought was pretty great.
When Wieden+Kennedy had the Target account, they somehow talked the client into running a campaign where there were actual stories. Little 15 second problem/solution stories that could connect with consumers.
Ernest Packaging is a company that does every aspect of the packaging business. They also love to ‘think outside the box’ (sorry) when it comes to client communication.
This campaign was created for their HR department to live on their website.
My role: With my copywriting partner, Bem Jimmerson, I helped shepherd the ideas through the production process by creating storyboards and overseeing the post production and editing of the videos.
These are a collection of Coke TV spots I worked on while at Wieden and Kennedy. The brief for all of these was basically: think about a ‘Coke truth’ and make a cool spot about it.
