georgian foods labels

I was asked to lay out some labels for Suneli Valley Georgian Foods, and after seeing the current label designs, I offered to redesign the labels for the whole line of foods. It was a fun project learning about some of the foods and spices from that region of the world, and the client was very happy with the results.
Note: This project is very recent, so there are no photos of labels on jars or packaging yet.

I initially wanted to redesign the logo, but was told to keep it as similar as possible—mainly for brand recognition—so I made it a little sleeker and more integrated into the overall design.
I also suggested to make the labels a little more colorful so they would stand out a bit more. And I went for a more vintage botanical illustration look for the ingredients rather than the watercolor look of the previous labels.
